Pamala Trivedi, PhD, NCSP

Pamala Trivedi is a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, policy expert, and applied behavioral health researcher with more than twenty-five years of experience supporting children and their families.  Pamala is committed to strengths-based, resilience-focused approaches, and brings a national policy lens to her work in building and sustaining child, youth, and family-focused service delivery systems that are responsive to multi-generational behavioral health needs. Pamala’s interest in embedding healing-centered, resilience-focused approaches into children’s mental health springs from her work in examining natural family and community strengths to buffer the effects of early adversity.  Pamala has served in many roles across public schools, early care and education, medical settings, applied research in university settings, and, most recently, in the federal government.  She is currently a Research Associate Professor at Georgetown University’s Center for Child and Human Development and is supporting federal grantees in building systems around children’s mental health.  As the mom of a child with behavioral health needs, Pamala has also been a tireless advocate for embedding social-emotional supports in inclusive educational settings.  Pamala continues to learn from parenting her 6- and 9-year old children and lives with her family in Washington, DC.
