Alissa Schmidt, PsyD

Alissa Schmidt, PsyD is a postdoctoral fellow at the WISE Center where she provides clinical support for both students and educators. Dr. Schmidt has focused throughout her training on providing care for severe and persistent mental health concerns in children and adolescents, with an emphasis on providing care in under-served and marginalized communities. Dr. Schmidt completed her internship training with North Star Federally Qualified Health Center in Springfield, VT, where she served in integrated care and school based health roles, and completed her doctorate at William James College in Boston, MA. She is very excited to be here in the DMV and to be assisting the WISE Center with this important work.
